Free Broadcast Inc (fbi radio) is one of Sydney's most iconic cultural institutions, giving rise to some of the city's most prodigious musical talent for more than two decades. The station is irreplaceable as a platform for emerging talent and as a voice for Sydney's diverse cultural communities.

At Made Together, I led a holistic reimagining of the station's brand identity and digital experience, from the first conversation to launch.

The design language is both a vessel for the station's content and an expression of its identity. Morphing, abstract noise formations make its sonic world tactile, layering and coalescing into the endless textures of local music, arts and culture. The new logomark is a salient anchor for the identity. Its stylised period marks a shift beyond linear FM to an interactive, digital future.
